Must be a veteran who served active duty in the U.S. military<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Must reside in the HCS SSVF service area (DC, Prince George\u2019s County, Montgomery County, Fairfax County, the City of Alexandria and Arlington County)<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Must meet income requirements for low-income households (see below):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table id=\"table-for-veteran\" class=\" aligncenter\" style=\"height: 5px;\" width=\"5\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th><\/th>\n<th><\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Note: Different criteria apply to those who only served in the reserves.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">With the support of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs we provide short, intensive <strong>Case Management<\/strong> and <strong>Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA)<\/strong> to address a host of factors that affect the housing stability of veteran families (joblessness, limited income, disability, mental illness, credit\/budget issues, etc.) and link veterans to the following services:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; housing counseling<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; assistance with paying rental arrears<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; security deposit\/1st month\u2019s rent<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; moving expenses<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; health care<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; daily living<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; personal financial planning<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; transportation assistance<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; fiduciary and payee services<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; legal services<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211;
